The Women’s Collaborative for Colorado is hosting a Community Conversation on May 24th, “The Road to Equal Pay in Colorado – Progress on Key Initiatives and What’s Left to Do”. We will have an engaging panel of experts and activists who will share the progress being made on equal pay and improved workplace practices and discuss the continuing plans to reach our goals in these important areas. We hope you will come to expand your understanding of these issues …and leave with your commitment to support the change that is necessary.
Our panelists will include Kimberly Desmond, City and County of Denver, Office of Women and Families; Alison Friedman, the Women’s Foundation of Colorado; Linda Meric, National Executive Director, 9to5; Nancy Reichman, past Chair, Colorado Pay Equity Commission; and Colorado legislator, Representative Faith Winter, District 35. Each of these great panelists are directly involved in efforts to change the landscape for Colorado women on these issues.
The event will be held at the St. Anthony Medical Campus, in Conference Room A-D, at 11600 West 2nd Place, Lakewood, 80228 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served and the event is free, but registration is required. To register, contact Betty Flaten at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than May 20th.
