The elections will be over….take a deep breath and bring a friend for an interesting and informative discussion on Women Leading!
The Women’s Collaborative invites you to attend their November 8th event “Women Leading – A New Paradigm” from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Engage in an interactive conversation of how women of various racial and ethnic identities successfully lead and learn how to leverage your strengths and overcome the challenges created by social norms and racial and gender bias.
We have two terrific women leaders who will share strategies and tips for successful leadership. Caroline Turner, a national expert on gender and leadership, will lead off with providing you an assessment of where your natural style falls on the leadership spectrum and help us explore the power of expanding our use of more of those traits.
Vaneesha Dutra, Professor of Finance at the University of Denver and entrepreneur, will discuss the intersection of race and gender for women leaders and share her unique strategies for successfully leading as a woman of color.
Come be inspired and learn some “success strategies” that will ensure your impact and success as a woman leader!
The evening begins at 5:30 pm at the Graduate School of Social Work, 2148 S. High, Denver, 80208. We’ll have “bites and beverages” and great conversation so don’t miss it!
The program is free and open to the public and registration is required at https://bit.ly/2ykZNzy
We hope to see you all there!
